Here is a deductive argument for God’s existence based on the concept of spirit:

    1. If there exists a spiritual realm, then God exists.

    2. There exists a spiritual realm.

    3. Therefore, God exists.

Premise 1: If there exists a spiritual realm, then God exists.

The concept of spirit implies a non-physical, non-material existence that transcends our physical world. If such a realm exists, then it must have an ultimate source or cause, which we call God. This is because the existence of a non-physical realm requires an explanation beyond the physical and natural world, and God, as the ultimate source of all things, is the most logical explanation for the existence of such a realm.

Premise 2: There exists a spiritual realm.

The existence of human consciousness and the subjective experience of the mind suggest the existence of a non-physical realm. This corresponds with the biblical accounts that have long held that there is a spiritual realm beyond the physical world.

    Conclusion: Therefore, God exists.

Given the premises, it logically follows that God exists as the ultimate source of the spiritual realm. This argument provides a philosophical basis for the existence of God based on the concept of spirit.

Premise 2, that a spiritual realm may be inferred from human experience, is correct but very difficult to support today. Entanglement with the senses means the soul is not seen.

Also as I said in another point, I think many who accept that man is spiritual will continue to deny an external Creator. Hinduism in some ways already supports this view.

If you could support Premise 2 to the satisfaction of humanity it would revolutionize the world, particularly with a connection to an external God. Then they could merely look at themselves and know that they were made. But I think this will be a very extended battle.

The argument does not rely solely on human experience to establish the existence of a spiritual realm. It also draws on the concept of spirit, which is a widely recognized and debated philosophical and theological concept that has been discussed for centuries. Therefore, the argument is not solely based on subjective human experience but on a broader philosophical and theological framework.

Moreover, there is evidence to support the idea that human consciousness and subjective experience suggest the existence of a non-physical realm. Studies in neuroscience have shown that the brain’s activity alone cannot fully account for all aspects of human consciousness and experience. For example, near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences suggest that consciousness can exist independent of the physical body. These experiences are difficult to explain purely in terms of brain function and suggest the existence of non-physical aspects of reality.

Also, there are many historical and cultural traditions that have recognized the existence of a spiritual realm beyond the physical world. While there may be variations in the specific beliefs and practices of these traditions, they all point to the existence of a non-physical realm that transcends the physical world.

Regarding the idea that many who accept the existence of a spiritual realm may still deny the existence of an external Creator, this is true to a certain extent. However, the argument is specifically based on the concept of spirit and its logical implications for the existence of God. The argument does not rely solely on the acceptance of a spiritual realm but on the concept of spirit as a non-physical, non-material existence that requires an ultimate source or cause beyond the physical and natural world, which is the most logical explanation for the existence of such a realm.

If the non-physical realm requires an explanation and God is part of the non-physical realm, then God requires an explanation. If God does not require an explanation and is part of the non-physical realm, then the non-physical realm does not require an explanation.
